Snowdonia

UK trip

The Snowdonia trip runs around Easter time and offers around 35 places to club members. We spend two days and nights around Anglesey & the mountains of Snowdonia (although some members choose to get three full days riding in) and stay in bunkhouse style accommodation to keep the cost down. The riding tends to be fairly hilly (really?) and the weather can be very changeable, but dramatic scenery is guaranteed. Cost is around £45 per person for accommodation - food, drink and petrol contributions are up to the individual!

Belgium

Europe trip

The inaugural Belgium trip was attended by 14 club members in 2018 and was a great success; three days of riding consisted of 100K from Dunkirk to Kortrijk, then a 80k loop of the Tour of Flanders climbs on day 2, followed by another 100k back to Dunkirk. Accommodated in IBIS hotels and backed up with a broom wagon for the duration of the trip, it was a truly memorable trip through the fields of Flanders, Ypres and Passchendaele. It goes without saying we had to sample the beer culture of Belgium to, from time to time! Cost (ferries, hotel and broom wagon) is around £220 plus food and drinks.
