Hi folks. In a bid to punt the new website I'll put updates for the trip to Wales here and then post the links onto facebook...maybe email them out via BC as well.
So, if you are not sure what the Wales trip is all about, this is it in a nutshell:
- Friday 12th to Sunday 14th April 2019, staying in Llanberis at the foot of Snowdon
- Accommodation is the Kent Mountain Centre
- Travel up (car share) on Friday (4 hour journey)
- Those who aren't working on Friday can choose to go up early and get an extra ride in
- Club dinner (Pizza and a pint) at the local pub Friday night, try and limit booze intake
- Big ride Saturday - 60 - 80 miles probably, expect hills!
- Sort yourself out for dinner on saturday, lots of options locally
- Slightly shorter ride & earlier start Sunday, drive back Sunday eve
- Cost is £45 PP for accommodation, includes £4 PP for club funds
More info from myself (drop me an email) and if you want to reserve a place - 30 places in total. It promises to be another excellent trip - the riding can be challenging, as can the weather, but the scenery is never less than dramatic!
